About The Breeder

My name is Alecia and I grew up in Montana but eventually relocated to Utah. I realized at this point in my life that I needed a service dog to assist with my mental health. This is when I met Keara. She quickly became my lifeline and partner in crime. She gave me the comfort I needed when I was alone and scared and was there for me on my worst days. She loved me when I felt like no one else did; and always saw the potential inside of me. She never stopped believing in me and she pushed me to rise above my challenges and to become a better person.

I got my first glimpse of the healing power of a dog. I knew then that I wanted to give this gift back to people. I wanted to let people know that they didn't have to go through their pain alone. They didn't have to suffer in silence; There was a solution.  They could have a partner that would love them regardless of how they looked or what disability they had. I wanted to show people that even though they might feel invisible, THEY MATTERED. I wanted to effect change in others lives and make a difference where it mattered most. 

 I started researching and studying what breed I wanted to get into and finally decided on the wonderful breed that we breed here at Golden Heart Kennels. My amazing husband supported me through my dreams and that's why I am able to do what I love to do, without his help I wouldn't be here. We are now on our way to changing so many peoples lives with our Golden Heart puppies.
